MERRIMACK, NH – A serious collision was reported this morning in Merrimack that led to traffic delays and road closures, according to WMUR.

The accident happened on the Everett Turnpike, near Exit 12, at around 9 a.m., when a driver collided with a guard rail, then swerved into the lane of oncoming traffic.

Authorities closed both sides of the highway for the cleanup efforts, and by 9:15 a.m., both directions were once again open.
